I hate hotels. But did not want to drive the 4 hrs back home. So chose this one. Am so happy I did. I think if I go places I might look for springhill from now on first. Customer service, excellent. Room actually halfway decent. Of course cleanliness could be better. I might be more picky than most, but my first job was housekeeping in a hotel. I know they don't clean well even up to your lowest expectation.anyway,this is one is actually a two minute walking from sesame place. With 20 dollar parking at the park. We saved!

Second time visiting this year. Great location within walking distance to Sesame Place. During the slow times at Sesame Place there is no required valet parking, so that was easier to deal with. The common area needs some attention; juice machine was broken again, couches had some loose threads. Understand there's many kids going through the common area, but the prime location to Sesame Place should put more emphasis on upkeeping the common area.

I stayed here during Memorial day weekend for 1 night and the check-in process was not as smooth as I hoped it would of went as rooms were not ready. Besides rooms not being ready I liked how accommodating and nice the front desk agent Nicole was she did everything to make my stay with my boyfriend and son a comfortable one. I also forgot my son's monkey harness and they were soo accommodating to getting it back to me since I live an hour and a half away and didn't intend on driving back all the way there just for one thing. I also loved how clean!!!! the rooms were it was a lively feeling when you walked in the door.

Apparently this hotel is under new management. Came on a Thursday at 2:15 to check in and the lobby was already mobbed with people waiting for rooms. The poor attendant at the front was trying his best to accommodate everyone and was left alone with no management to support the crowd. Rooms were not ready, and it was a free for all once he was able to start checking people in. Someone in valet said that under the new management, it’s like this everyday and that people are left waiting a long time for rooms. Check-in is at 3, we didn’t get our room until 3:30. At night, my husband went up front to get one of our key cards fixed (one didn’t work) and said there were a group of people needing things for their room (pillows, towels, etc.) and they were told housekeeping staff were only there until 8. So the receptionist had to go get them pillows which delayed the help of everyone else. When you’re a hotel right across from sesame place with a large number of families coming in, you need to do better! Kids don’t always have the ability to “wait” an hour which makes it very stressful for parents! On the flip side, the rooms were clean and large which was perfect for our daughters pack and play. The bathroom was nice as well. I just wish the process went much smoother for coming in.

The rating is for Memorial Day to Labor Day. They have about 15 spaces to self park. Otherwise they force you to use the Valet service - which - they give you a number to text so your car is ready - and it never is. I have been staying at the hotel for SEVEN YEARS as a corporate client. It's not good for corporate clients between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Stay away. Any other time of year - and it's much better. The valet is gone and it's much more relaxed.
