Known as one of the best secrets in Philadelphia, meet Chlöe. This New American Restaurant is filled with antiques. With an atmosphere and delcious menu that will sure to charm your guests. This New-American BYOB features a seasonal changing menu. When you eat at Chloe, be prepared to feel like family.

Chlöe, a 32 seat BYOB, was opened in November of 2000 by the husband and wife team of Dan Grimes and Mary Ann Ferrie. For the past 16 years, they have worked side by side to create a casual neighborhood eatery serving fresh, locally sourced foods. All food is prepared and cooked by them, insuring the best possible product. When you eat at Chloe we want you to feel at home and have a great dining experience. So grab a bottle of wine, maybe an extra for the hard working kitchen crew, and come have dinner - Before you know it you'll be part of the family!!! Chlöe is a great spot for private events. With seating for up to 38 people, every menu is created just for you. Mary Ann, half of the husband/wife chef/owner duo, will work directly with you to insure your perfect party! For private events there is a 20 person minimum, usually with a 3 course menu of your choosing. It is 100% up to you. Your guests would have 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 3 desserts to pick from. If you have favorite Chlöe dishes we could certainly include them, or we can help you create a seasonal menu. Wednesday - Friday can accommodate up to 10 people with the regular menu while staying open to other customers. We do not seat groups larger than 6 on Saturdays.

Had to chase down a waitress after waiting 15 minutes for someone to greet us after walking in. We were barely acknowledged when we tried checking in. After an hour of waiting to be seated, the waitress told us they were running out of food and could not accommodate us. One table had been seated during this time. It’s unacceptable they couldn’t tell us this earlier so as not to waste our time.

Mediocre food at high plice. Looked and tasted like it was prepared way in advance and heated--up in microwave before serving. Presentation is horribble. Staff is very friendly, but overall service is below average. You have to be good fit to get to the restroom in the basement and climb steep stair back.

Delicious little BYOB. Sliced octopus appetizer was fresh and tasty. Rib dinner also very good and could feed a small army. My friend had the trout, beautifully prepared, fresh ingredients. Lovely hostess and wait staff. Great local business to support.

Me and my husband got food poisoning from eating there. I am sure it is from this place because we haven't been to any other restaurant recently. I guess it came either from the octopus salad or the marinated fish. The octopus had a strong, disgusting aftertaste (like rotten fish). I kept telling myself that it's impossible that they would serve us rotten food in such fine restaurant! We were shy to say something about it. Now, after 4 bad days, we know we weren't imagining the bade taste! Never expected this! We are both Sushi and sea food lovers and we eat it all the time but we never got sick from it! THANK YOU for this HORRIBLE dining experience!
