The service was excellent. The food was good it was great. The staff was very professional and courteous. I really enjoyed myself. The portions of the food WhereMore than enough. You must try this restaurant you will be more than please.

Great Service!!! Thanks Danielle & Jason!! We had a small family reunion in Philly with our kids (two under 9) and parents (in laws) and sister... the food was good... but the service was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Danielle was by far one of the best servers we have ever had... friendly, intuitive, funny, and clearly knows her craft!! Manager Jason stepped in to check in and solved a table "snafu" in a cinch...thanks Jason! Maggianos is a family friendly restaurant in most major cities... but this Philly location has service like no other. Thanks Danielle... you impressed the whole family!

This place has really great food and a nice selection of wines. The dining room is very classic, almost like out of a movie set but not too pretentious. A nice place to have a large party enjoy a meal and each other's company. The only thing that held me back from a higher rating is the staff. Some of them are a little snooty and made me feel less than....also, we had some food left at the end of our meal last time i was there and so we had it boxed-up to go home with us but they FORGOT our $10 slice of cake that we only took one bite out of....we were refunded for the cake, which was nice but i was really looking forward to enjoying that as a midnight snack. oh well!

I have visited this Italian restaurant a few times and have been indulging in the oil and bread, thinking the oil is olive oil. It turns out it is a mixture of canola mixed with vegetable oil. I was very surprised of that discovery given this is an Italian restaurant and Italian cuisine is big on olive oil. I am asking from now on in any Italian restaurant I visit, and will not just assume the oil is olive oil. Olive oil, especially extra virgin kind is very good for you and your cholesterol levels.

We came here because we had a coupon to use. I noticed they take reservations, so I made one. When we showed up just before the time of our reservation we gave them our name and their response is "okay you are now added to the list we'll text you when your table is ready." So basically, the "reservations" are good for sh*t. After we waited quite a while we got a text that our table was ready and had to wait in another line to get a host to take us to our table. After we sat down it was about another 20-30 minutes for our waiter to come. When he did finally show up he quickly took our drink orders without even waiting to see if we wanted to order food (since it had been so long) and then another person brought our drinks and when we said we wanted to order food he said he'd get our waiter but he didn't show up for another 10 minutes. The atmosphere is kind of nice but quite loud. It's not that we didn't want to be there but it's not fun to just keep people waiting. When we finally ordered & received our food it was fabulous, I had the ravioli. The server and person busing tables were both very nice and the man who was busing tables accidentally spilled my drink and he felt bad and apologized and they made me a new one. It also took such a long time to get our check and for them to come back with my card. I don't think I'd come here to eat again even though the food was good.
