Brides, beware. This hotel seemed very easy to work with at first, but as we got closer to our event, it turned out to be trouble at every turn. They have a very high turnover of sales managers, which should have been my first clue. I worked with 4 by the time the wedding actually happened. Planning was a nightmare, with admittedly, some of that issue on our end with lots of family out of town. The DoubleTree sales and reception staff did not make that any easier to navigate. They attempted to say our block was full even though their contract said any room can be added to the block as long as it was available and booked before the time frame expired. Reception tried to get guests to book at the full night rate instead. Check in was challenging as the hotel was oversold and packed with sports families in for the weekend. Many guests were put in rooms other than what they requested, so received king size rooms when they had booked doubles, etc. Reception forgot to hand out our gift bags for our guests, and so many of our guests did not receive them unless they specifically asked for it, though they were supposed to give each room in our block a bag. When we (bride and groom) arrived at the end of the night there were still many sitting behind the desk. Finally, they told us months before the wedding that as the bride and groom, that they had reserved us a room. My now husband called several months before and booked this and they said it was good to go. When my now husband called to confirm the week before, they hadn't actually booked it, and we had to scramble to get a room for the night. The sales manager did not return my husband's calls for a full week during his attempt to figure this out. He did apologize and say he had had a busy week, but that's a little bit too little too late. Finally, the hotel is beat. The carpets are filthy, a guest found a used condom under their bed while they were checking the room before check out. There wasn't anything that can truly be said was great about this experience. Trying to plan with the staff at DoubleTree Plymouth Meeting caused so much unnecessary stress. I highly recommend you seek other options in the area.

This is one of, if not the worst DoubleTrees I’ve ever stayed at. If you’re expecting one of the cookies they advertise, you’re not likely to get them here because the staff doesn’t offer them up and they don’t have any before 11 AM, which is the check-out time. Hopefully, when you get there, the bluetooth works and you’re able to use the digital key or else you can expect to go down to the lobby at least twice because the plastic keys won’t work either. When you finally get into your room, be prepared to clean the toilet seat yourself unless sitting on other people’s urine is your thing. Yeah, housekeeping didn’t clean the toilet before our arrival. Also, bring a power strip with you because half the four outlets in the bedroom won’t work. Finally, expect housekeeping to come knocking at your door at 9 AM even though you’ll still have another 2 hours to be out of the room. If none of these things appeal to you, please continue driving to the DoubleTree in Valley Forge or go to a different Hilton brand hotel or, go to the Marriott across the lot. Yes, it’s THAT bad. This was a serious waste of reward points.

Oh my gosh where to begin!? The lobby area opens up and seems impressive until you look more closely. The carpets ALL need to be replaced and fresh paint needed all over. When we were there they had a women's softball team, a field hockey team, a men's soccer team, a women's crew team, a youth hockey team and a wedding party. All athletes and coaches were great EXCEPT the youth hockey team. They were with their parents and were an absolute nightmare. Their parents let them run absolutely wild through the entire hotel; running, screaming, yelling, playing football, tag, hide and seek, throwing food in the hallways, knocking into other guests etc. The capper was when one of them pulled the fire alarm. The hotel staff was so nice...but they didn't do anything to try to reign these kids in. Yes, it is the responsibility of the parents, but when the parents aren't doing anything it is up to the hotel staff to make sure that their OTHER guests also have an enjoyable and restful stay. They should have sent someone to get control of the situation. It was both nights and WELL into the night that these kids were running wild. Our room had a lot of stains on the curtains and the rugs. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. We originally had our group booked for rooms with two beds. The hotel called and asked if we wanted to switch to rooms with king size beds. We said no since we had four girls to a room. They switched us anyway!! Not good business practice! The breakfast buffet was great and the dining staff were great!

Needed to book a room last minute and close to where I was working. Surprisingly, the Double Tree was very affordable and very spacious. The restaurant and bar leave a lot to be desired but there is the Plymouth Mall just 5 minutes away walking. Rooms were super clean and very very spacious. Water was hot and they gave me a welcome cookie! Still hot like it just xane out the oven. Will definitely be back.

We loved our stay here.. very clean, comfortable and spacious.. staff is very friendly.. the Pool is big and clean but sometimes the water is a little too cold (they do adjust temperature if you ask them to). We had a room a few feet away from pool area and it was awesome. Our number one choice when we go to Plymouth meeting Pennsylvania.
