Our Cuisine Regionale unites the Cuisines from the 15 regions of France. We seek to recreate dishes you could find in a family restaurant in our chef's home country . Homey, tasty, simple and healthy. We use only the freshest products in our kitchen. From onion soup and salade Nicoise, to quiche Lorraine and crepes Normandes, you'll get yourself a quick and delicious lunch. For dinner, try a hearty choucroute or a Cassoulet; or taste a skatefish or a classic hanger steak. Finish with a profiterolle or an apple tart or even chocolate mousse, Olivier's mother's own recipe. Celebrate your special event on our semi-private mezzanine that can accommodate 20-45 guests. Prix fixe menus range from $30-$100 per person with wine pairing. Events run 90-180 minutes and must be booked 4 days in advance. Renting the entire premises is also an option at Caribou Café without a room fee but with a minimum guarantee. For parties of 12 or more, we highly suggest you use our prix fix menus. Drinks priced per consumption or per hour. A deposit of 20% is required when booking an event. The remaining balance is due no later than the day of the event. Deposits are refundable only from cancellations 21 days prior to the scheduled event.

I had a horrific experience at this restaurant. I had never been there before. The food and service were great BUT, when I attempted to pay for the bill, the server came back and stated that there was an error on the card and that he could not process it. I asked, in front of my guests, if I would be charged and he stated that HE REVERSED THE ERROR. I handed him a second card and he came back and said there was a problem. He said he would have another person try it. I walked to the bar to watch her attempt and she stated that the first card was declined and that it went through on the second card. This was all stated loudly in front of customers. When I got home, I contacted both banks. The first bank stated the three charges were attempted and immediately reversed. On the fourth attempt, the bank declined the charge believing it to be fraudulent. The second bank stated that there were FIVE pending charges for the same amount. When I called to speak to a manager, I was met with indifference and abruptness. Despite the quality of the food, because of the shame and embarrassment this caused me, I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN.

Very disappointed by the Choucroute. The sauerkraut was old and reheated, 2 or 3 very little pieces of pork looking old too, a lot of regular not tasty sausages. Don't order it! Saved by the dessert: a dark chocolate mousse cake.

Amazing service and incredibly beautiful and delicious meals. Great beer and wine selection. It's wonderful. Don't miss it.

Great ambiance, good drinks. Food less than they should be - they could execute the dishes much better. Desserts to die for. Machine made espresso not as good as a barista made brew. Great place that ought to do a better job. Good place for president or post theater (the Forrest Theater is two doors away. Convenient parking garages.

What a lovely little cafe! Seating was fast, we chose to sit outside. It was a gorgeous evening, cool and crisp; a perfect night for a latte. Had the soup of the day (carrot), latte, and bread pudding. The bread pudding must have been about 2 lbs! The servings are HUGE!! I mean, look at this latte! The neighborhood is quiet. What a nice relaxing end to our day. Highly recommended.
