Welcome to one of the great contemporary American bistros in Philadelphia. Family owned and operated. Rose Tattoo Cafe has two private rooms. One accommodates 20 and the other accommodates up to 30 people. The bar can accommodate cocktail parties up to 60 people in the private room. Customized prix fixe menu is available. On Sundays entire restaurant can be reserved for up to 60 people. Their second floor dining room will accommodate 28 guests and first floor dining room will accommodate up to 18 people.

We walked from our hotel and when we found the place I have to admit walking inside made a difference . The place is beautifully decorated and even though I went with friends , it’s a perfect couple / date choice. The food was excellent, everything cooked to perfection . The lamb appetizer just had more fat than meat, my only gripe. Moderate prices , but it was an all around hit for all of us.

I came here after reading the reviews to have a nice dinner for the one night in Philadelphia with my wife. Upon asking for the wine list, the server told me it is BYOB. Then after trying to order the one chicken dish on the menu. I was informed they cannot prepare it as is stated on the menu. The chicken ended up being so tough I ate a quarter of it and asked for the check.

Nice selection of menu items; not a huge menu, but something for everyone. Our party of five greatly enjoyed everything we ordered. Servings large enough that we took food home. Attentive service. On street parking. We brought our own bottle of wine. Great experience. Looking forward to our next visit.

I been to the Tattoo many times, but I haven't been there in two years. This was my first bad experience. Our server was not too friendly. As hard as I tried, I could not get her to crack a smile. I ordered the steak special. It was very flavorful and cook perfectly (med-rare), but was very tough and tasted like older frozen beef. I am not sure if I will go back any time soon.
