The hotel itself is nice... check in was about 1 minute, so was checking out. The room had 2 double beds and pretty comfortable. However, outside the hotel it is a different story. Homeless people everywhere , I hope the city can help them in some way...the Reading Terminal Market next door to the hotel is very convenient, but the smell outside , near the entrance was just nauseating . Also, the hop on, hop off bus stops in front of the hotel , so that is very convenient as well. It is 15 minute walk to a lot of sights... the location is pretty darn good. Would I stay/recommend the hotel, only if it was in a different location. I liked the hotel, but would not stay there again.

I used some points to stay at this hotel and my stay was pretty good. I got upgraded to an executive king suite which was nice. The hotel has been around for quite some time and even though the rooms could use a light "refresh", we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The wife and I enjoyed the restaurant and drinks downstairs and the hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. I'd definitely return again for a fun filled but relaxed weekend.

As elite member supposed to have access to club lounge, they put my room on the top floor so I was on same level as club lounge However it isn’t open on weekends, so 2/3 of my stay no access. Then had to pay astronomical amount for breakfast, no offer for breakfast voucher (they did give a few points). Also had to go down 15 flights of stairs just to use a microwave. The hotel carpet and decor is very old, not very modernized. It definitely wasn’t worth the $260/nite, and that was a group rate. Very poor representation of a big Marriott hotel

Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only mildly annoying thing was trying to get an elevator to the lobby in the morning. (Hint: it’s quicker just to get in one going up.)

I had a great experience here. Actually i stayed here last month because i had some work in Philadelphia and i was amazed with their brilliant services. The room were well maintained and properly cleaned and the staff was also very kind and helping. The location was also superb. If i talk about the food was super delicious and the way they treat their customer was appreciable. Overall best hotel to stay!!!
