IT DEPENDS HOW YOU SET THE BAR. For us, this is a second rate hotel but exactly what it presents as. Our room was newly renovated and a suite. Very nice. No water in the room, no bathrobe, no bathtub (shower only). Breakfast in the lobby but no room service (I provided for my wife each morning and it was a pain in the neck). Breakfast second rate but something so I didn't have to leave the hotel. THE PROBLEM IS THE HOMELESS PEOPLE THAT LIVE ALL OVER THE STREETS IN THE AREA. We had to walk past them day and night. Not so bad for us but we had brought 30 women from Israel to participate in the Craft Show at the Convention Center and they were afraid when walking to and from the Convention Center. We are always sorry for the homeless situation but let's call it like it is. This is one of the negative features of this particular hotel. We would choose a different place the next time.

Very convenient to the convention center and overall downtown area. Ton of restaurants, bars, and small stores all in walking distance. Reception staff was very friendly and welcoming. Came in late, so there was no wait to check-in. They have a basic breakfast buffet with your stay. It was decent enough to start your day, but nothing special. I thought there was an evening reception, but didn't see one. There is a small bar and you can order food, but at a charge. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and has basic amenities of microwave, safe, and fridge. Bathrooms were clean and had basic toiletries. Decent for a quick business trip.

Beautiful lobby, very convenient location.... the staff here is fabulous. They go it odd there way too make sure you have everything that you need or want.... really.. they are exceptionally helpful and friendly. This is everything you expect with a Hampton Inn..... great rooms and very comfortable mattresses.

Great hotel very close to the conventional center and Reading Terminal Market! They let me check in early. My room was very quiet and temperature worked great. Slept wonderful. All the staff were very helpful!

The location is excellent. Near the city center. Parking is across the street available for 25 to $30 for overnight- a cheaper arrangement than the valet parking and is very convenient. The morning breakfast was well appointed and there is good seating space. Rooms are spacious and new. I wish they had chosen better color carpet for their hallway but that is the only complaint I have!
