Right next to the Delaware River and Interstate 95, our Essington meeting facilities are the perfect place to get together with friends or conduct that business meeting that you have been waiting for. Whether it’s a banquet, classroom or reception setup that you need, we have you covered at our Essington meeting rooms. For your larger events, we have the Presidential Ballroom, an immense 7920-square-foot area. You can break this down into 4 smaller ballrooms if you desire. We also have 750-squre-foot rooms like the Washington, and 325-square-foot rooms for smaller more private affairs. If it’s the amenities you are after, we offer our guests free WiFi, a valet cleaning service, guest use fax and copy machines, free airport transportation, a teleconference service, and free newspaper Monday – Friday. We are conveniently located by many locations in Philadelphia including Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia Zoo, US Mint, and the Philadelphia Convention Center. We are also only 3 short miles away from the Philadelphia International Airport – so if you have guests flying in or out of our location it will be a breeze. If you would like to book one of the many areas at the Essington meeting facilities please give us a call at (610) 521-9600. Meeting planners may be eligible to earn 4 Choice Privileges® points for every $1 spent on meeting rooms, equipment, guest rooms and hotel-provided food and beverages, up to 200,000 points. We offer 15 meeting rooms for any size group and any room configuration. The day rate for a meeting room is $500 + tax and service fee.

Old building with very very loud doors. You could hear doors slamming shut 10 rooms down. The lobby was clean and the breakfast dining was good. Beds were very small but very comfortable. Would stay again.

Nice hotel but very old! The staff is the better part of the hotel honestly. Everything else quite old and you can tell from a distance. My room was definitely clean and smelled fine. Bed was comfortable, room with balcony, tv, couch, desk, coffee maker, complementary bottles of water. Gym also very old but it gets the jobs done. Overall it’s okay for one night. But it’s Old! One downside was a little roach I had to crush in the tub! Now that’s a NO for me. Posted pics of everything.

I loved this place and the bar was great just not enough servers. We had to wait a long time for food and drinks. It wasn't the server/bartenders fault though. They were buried! I would say they need some more workers.

Went here for a banquet. The staff was very nice and the overall atmosphere was nice. Our company reserved is a room. It had a microwave and a small fridge. It was clean but overall older feel and could have used new carpet or a newer decor. Enjoy

We held the USS Boxer Veterans Associations 2019 reunion at the Clarion. Our members come from across the country and the proximity to the airport, free shuttle or free parking were a big plus. The rooms were fresh and clean with great daily service. The Red Fire Grill has diverse seating for every situation as well as good drinks and food. Beautiful ball room. Our group was guided from the very beginning by professional coordinators and staff. No request was to much. Special thank you to Dotty, Harley and Steve.
