About

A Street Food Bar by James Beard nominated Chefs Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby, V Street offers a fun and exciting approach to vegetable cooking inspired by street food culture from all over the world. Located in a little "jewel box" space just off Rittenhouse Square, the bustling bar, intimate dining room and open Chef's Counter offer a casual space to experience an ever-changing line up of flavorful street food dishes. The bar highlights approachable natural wines, funky craft beers and some spirited cocktails. V Street serves dinner 7 nights a week plus lunch on weekdays and brunch on the weekends. Most of the menu is available for delivery through Caviar, and the space is also available for private parties of various sizes. We look forward to hosting you!

What a wonderful spot! I went back two days in a row because the food was so delicious. In fact, the food is so good that they ended up running out of a menu item. After I told them not to worry and I'd order something else, they brought me a little treat to thank me for returning! Tasty food and thoughtful service. Can't beat that!

From the same ownership group as Vedge, V Street is a more casual cafe with "globally inspired street food." The options are all vegan and all delicious. I went with the waffles but everything I sampled was great! Highly recommend, would go again any day of the week.

OMG... simple menu with complex flavors. Everything was amazing. We had four main dishes, two drinks and a dessert. I feel stuffed but not uncomfortable... you know that feeling when the food was just to heavy to digest. This is not that feeling. Absolutely no complaints with the food, service or the vibe. This is the real deal for vegetarians and non vegetarians alike. Heather our server was great. And I just had to get a photo of the chef artists at work. What a well run open kitchen. Definitely definitely give this place a try... Make reservations because they fill up fast.

We had a low bar going in--just looking for meatless options more inspired than salad/pasta. What we found at V Street was a truly incredible selection of tasty dishes gathered from the owners' travels and lifelong love affair with food of all types from all around the world. The dishes are the sorts of things that are actually being made in home kitchens everywhere and they are just flat out delicious. There seem to be no bad choices on the menu---just pick whatever you feel like. Same goes for the cocktails---put on your big kid pants and jump in, you will be rewarded with new taste combinations that you may love but that you will at least be glad you tried!

Excellent food! Now they are open for lunch. Fast and swift service. Hands down, THE best nan I have had! It's freshly made everyday with a hearth oven. Owner Abby was friendly and humble. Excellent dining experience!
