About

Nestled along the Pickering Creek in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, the Mill at Anselma is an extraordinary historic site demonstrating over 250 years of Chester County’s industrial history. The 22 acre property and surviving historical buildings demonstrate a heritage engineered to last. It is open to the public and hosts educational and entertaining events.

The Mill retains its original Colonial-Era power train, as well as multiple layers of industrial equipment ranging from the late 1700s to the mid 1900s.

Awesome hidden gem historic mill....very knowledgeable volunteers and impressive working mill equipment. Turtle trail along the pond is very picturesque and tranquil. Great trail to meander down and enjoy the natural beauty.

Fascinating place to visit. Experience the ingenuity of our ancestors. Get a true vision of our past. The guides are very knowledgeable. Small gift shop which sells grains ground in the mill among other items. Worth a stop.

The mill is practically in my backyard, but I have never been there until recently. I attended a fundraising event at the mill and had a wonderful time enjoying the historic mill, the natural beauty of the location and the local catering and live music. Since then they have asked our company to make some videos for them to help promote their venue. Each event they have hosted has been elegant and memorable. Great venue!
