At the midpoint on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway between City Hall and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Sister Cities Park adds a picturesque swath of green to the heart of Philadelphia’s notable arts and cultural district. From here, panoramic views bring skyscrapers, historic cathedrals and museums into harmony, while the Sister Cities fountain, a unique representation of the world with Philadelphia at its center, is close enough for adults to touch and children to run through. The fountain’s ten geyser-like spouts symbolize our ten sister cities, each positioned according to its global relationship to Philadelphia.

This is a hidden gem of Philly. I was absolutely amazed when I came across this little park. Such a great place to sit and have a cup of coffee and relax. Places like this are what makes Philadelphia such a great city.
I love this pocket park! What an oasis in the concrete desert, mature trees, the sound of water, birds. There is adequate seating, benches and tables and chairs. It gets crowded during lunch during the weekdays depending on the weather. I prefer the park when it's a little quieter of course but regardless it's one of the loveliest little gems in the city I've happened upon. Apparently you can rent the park for events too.
