About

Royal Boucherie is a lively American brasserie from award winning chef Nicholas Elmi.  You'll find us nestled in Old City amongst historic buildings, art galleries and steps away from Penn's Landing.  Our locally sourced menu (highlighting Chef's strong roots in French cuisine) provides our guests the freedom to enjoy drinks and a light bite, a beer and a burger or four-courses of magic paired with amazing wines from our cellar.  

We welcome guests for lunch, brunch, dinner and late-night hours.  Our bar and tavern area is boisterous.  Our dining rooms provide the backdrop for an elevated dining experience.  The upstairs garden is the perfect spot to sip some bubbles and enjoy oysters during our warmer months.  Our upstairs parlour is the perfect spot for private dinners and cocktail parties.

Great brunch experience at Royal Boucherie. Service was very good, a little slow in spots but very knowledgeable and friendly. Charcuterie board is absolutely the move. The small was more than enough to split 4 ways and was delicious. The breakfast sandwich and the croque monsieur were both flavorful. Very hearty plates so come hungry.

Bartenders were a little douchy, ignored me and my date as they preferentially served other customers. Won't return. Definitely better spots in the area I'd rather visit.

Very cozy dinner spot. Food was very good and the wine was outstanding. Menu offers nice options and this is definitely a place we would eat at again. Our server was slightly lacking, but it didn't ruin the meal. Great little find in Old City.

I cannot rave enough about this amazing spot. We had an amazing dining experience here and some truly unforgettable dishes. The vibe here is dim, elegant and cozy and the decor is really gorgeous. The service was perfection and the cocktails here are also on point. My favorite dish was the Albacore Tuna Crudo (watermelon jus, Japanese Ginger, Radish, Cucumber).

Great food. Great service. The only downside was that most of the light at dinner came from candles. European atmosphere. Had the steak and cleaned my plate. We were a party of 7, 3 people ordered the crab & corn pasta - all highly recommended it! Another person had the burger, said it as great. Another ordered salmon and cleaned the plate. The last ordered the escargot and love it. We had a charcuterie and cheese board to start, perfect servings. Wine list was incredible. Would go back more often if we lived closer.
