About

Brad and Lele Galer started Galer Estate Vineyard and Winery in 2005 when they created a 7 acre vineyard on their home property in Pocopson. With expert viticulture consulting from Lucie Morton, and Vineyard Management from Jan Grimes, the "Home Vineyard" was planted. In 2007, the Galers bought "Folly Hill Winery" on 700 Folly Hill Road in Kennett Square, and then proceeded on a 4 year re-construction plan that included a state-of-the art Fermentation room, art-inspired tasting room, replanted vineyard, French oak barrel room and wine bottling and labeling facility. We opened to the public in November of 2011, and have won over 100 medals and awards for our Chester produced and made wines.

Lovely selection of dry wines. The Rosé and red blend were favorites. I wish they had more varieties of dry reds, but in time I’m sure they will!

Wow, a hidden gem right in our back yard , beautiful property with lots a amazing art, and pretty views . Not to mention the wine , we have not been a big fan of pa wines but this place has won is over ...... and they have a Airbnb if you want to stay , we will definitely be back .

Originally I had a 1 star review due to an accidental butt dial review. I love this place. Great atmosphere and great wine!!

The wines get better and better! It's fun to sit outside in summer, but is a cozy spot in the winter to get a nice flight or glass of wine before or after Longwood Christmas lights. Not a great place for food, but you can bring your own. Nice and knowledgeable staff. Beautiful and interesting decor.

Great boutique winery with excellent wines. The grapes are from on property or the local area. Made in smaller batches so if you have a favorite, don't delay buying a bottle or you might miss out. There are some nice deals for their Anniversary weekend (November).
