So first let me say, don't be fooled by the name! 😏 This place is definitely upscale -- think caviar at $100 an ounce. That said, if you have the money, this restaurant should be on your list. Just about everything we had was exceptional. (Do yourself a favor and get the butternut squash -- you're welcome! 😁) The portions are decent, but I've been to similar restaurants that provide better portion sizes for the price. The only dish that I wouldn't rave about is the halibut; it was a little boring, especially when compared to everything else we ordered. Oh! Peach upside down cake! You'll never be the same... Other considerations: the staff is super nice and well informed about the menus and drinks, the environment is great for a date, intimate dinner, or special occasion, it's kinda small so definitely make a reservation.

What an awesome restaurant. We had an incredible evening. Starting with very kind and attentive staff and a beautiful interior, over great drinks (just let the bar surprise you) to delicious food. The food is French cuisine but jazzed up experimentally in a way that made it an unforgettable experience. So, you will get the total package here. This restaurant is a gem.

Food is absolutely delicious, very rich and deep flavors. The ambience is excellent especially with the sound baffles in the upstairs room keeping the noise in check. The one downside is the mediocre-at-best beer selection. Even gay bars in Philly have good beer. The wine list is excellent. No room for adventurous beer?

Had been wanting to go here for a while and finally made it for dinner around 8pm (important info). I've been in the downstairs bar area before for some after work drinks but never had any of the food. So this was a special occasion. We really wanted to try the dry aged duck but they had already run out of orders. So just keep in mind if you're trying for the duck, make an earlier reservation! Instead we opted for the beef tartare, roasted potato gnocchi, grilled corn, new york strip, and the roasted chicken.

Superb. Steak was perfect. Octopus was crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. Beet ravioli was probably one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Drinks were great. Again, superb.
