One of the best museums/ attractions I've been to in a LONG time. Certainly in my top 3 in Philadelphia! Entry is $16 for an adult, but you get a headset for an audio guide (the main tour is narrated by Steve Buscemi!) If you want to explore and visit every entry on the map provided at the front desk, you can spend a whole day here learning about the history of ESP and the evolution of the US correctional system. I spent 4 - 5 hours walking around, listening to the different sections and taking photos. Cannot recommend enough!

Defenitively worth it. Great price for the experience. Lots of cool information and cells to see. The jail is large and the tour awesome since you get your own headset and go at your own pace. It is nicely set up along with the map they gave. Highly recommend going.

The grounds are interesting to explore, and I love the dichotomy of standing in the prison yard with the incarceration rate data and seeing the shiny, modern Philadelphia skyline in the distance. The place definitely has a somber feel about it. The exhibits are cool, but what makes this place memorable is the audio tour. That alone is worth the visit and makes this place one of my all-time favorites.

Incredibly interesting! The ruins of this building allow you to envision what the inmates and guards lived. Everyone who worked within the park was very helpful and informative. There are many areas off limits for safety purposes, but more areas are opened than closed. Loved it!

Really cool place to visit. I was born in Philadelphia and visited this place twice. They set it up perfectly for a tour. They provide you a headset that tells you story's about each part of the prison. Very good experience. Highly recommended
