About

Craft Hall is a new experiential dining, drinking, and entertainment space located on Delaware Avenue in the Northern Liberties. Designed as an “Ode to Philly” with decor inspired by the city, Craft Hall is housed in a 35,000 sq ft warehouse with over 500 indoor and outdoor seats. The space offers food and activities that the whole family can enjoy, including an indoor playground, games, and an outdoor “Farm Yard” with chickens and rabbits.

The open concept space highlights how our bread is baked, meat is smoked, and beer is brewed, providing a unique experience and better understanding of the craftsmanship that went into creating them. Our menu focuses on simple American classics made with local ingredients. A true maker’s space, Craft Hall is home to Mainstay Independent Brewing Company and Lost Bread Co. Bakery.

A way to feel social or just getting out with kids! Went to this after a birthday party at Franklin Sq and my 3 yo had a blast while my 5mo was totally amused. Definitely family friendly and even mindful that sometimes parents especially us moms want some beer but maybe not a lot so they offer 10oz as well as 16oz drafts. What really struck me was the fried chicken ‘sando’. I rarely eat fried chicken but it was one of the few low lactose options. It was some of the best fried chicken I have ever had- both crispy (cornmeal batter I think) but only lightly breaded and really juicy meat (thighs I believe) all on an excellent bread. Does not come with a lot but it was a good portion of meat and hit the spot. My only rec with the kids vibe is a) wash or replace some of the foam tiles (pretty dirty) and 2)consider turning the corner by the back stairs into a slightly screened nursing nook. That said I did not look or ask about one (and there is a couch area near the entrance) but with my discrete top was able to nurse in the corner without issue. There were so many kids and babies at 5:30 on a Saturday that I was not too worried or bashful. I think we will have my husbands birthday there come winter.

I hosted a 55 person Rehearsal dinner here, the night before our sons wedding. Alison was our event planner, she exceeded every expectation I had of her. We had plenty of food options to choose from and when the spread came out, I was MORE then pleased !! Everything Tasted as great as it looked! Eric was our server, our guests had a drink in hand the entire time, he was very attentive and really worked hard, they all did, I cannot say enough about the level of customer service.. Our sons wedding is an extremely special event and starting it off here was the BEST CHOICE we could have made... Thank you Craft Hall and to ALL of the staff for making this night so amazing!! Great spot for a family with young kids! From the video games, pirate ship, basketball and swings, the kids had a blast. With a bar next to the playground, you can’t go wrong. Great beer selection from Mainstay and a pretty decent menu. Plenty of things to keep you and the kids busy. Oh and don’t forget about the chickens and rabbits!!

I really enjoyed my visit to Craft Hall. The ambiance is very nice with antique/unique repurposed decor and even couches and comfy chairs too. It’s huge and has many seating areas that could probably accommodate large parties. Food is ordered at the bar which means no table service (upside: it’s easy to separate checks. downside: no waiter or water for meals). Bartender was friendly. Beer and food were good. I loved my grilled cheese. I enjoyed playing games and the kids section looked fun too, but honestly I didn’t go downstairs. There was a small parking lot and farm out front. I would definitely return and maybe even bring my toddler next time.

It's a great place for parents to relax while their kids play. The food was great and timely. There is no table service so be aware of that before you go if that's what you expect. We had a great time though and the staff was friendly.
