Since opening in 2009, Brauhaus has quickly become one of the most authentic German Bierhalls and Restaurants in the United States. With 34 German beers on draft and over 50 in bottle we are proud to offer more German beer than anyone else outside of Deutschland! First time at Brauhaus Schmitz, gr8 German Bier menu, very good schnitzel, mix drinks pricey for shorts. We arrived early lunch ,Bartender Neal [sic] was very good and attentive. Will be back

The food is amazing... No doubt, I have not had a bad item here yet. The drink menu is emense and I highly recommend taking time to look through it. Schnapps are unique, wines are wonderful and the brandy is powerful. If you have room... Desserts are a must also.

Great happy hour! (At the bar or high tops.) $4 for your pick of 34 amazing German draft beers. $5 wurst sandwiches. Great atmosphere. Closest thing to drinking in Germany you can get in Philly, and probably most of the tri-state area!

The place is good. Not sure I would say great though. Amazing beer list, hands down. Lots of sausage and bratwurst. Do try the hazelnut mousse cake, its tasty. The fried cod was really good as well. Didn't like the under cooked potatoes. Definitely an experience. Nice atmosphere. The back room is good for bigger groups.
