About

Unionville Home is the original estate vineyard of the winery, with the first vines (a field of French-American hybrid varieties such as Chambourcin and Vidal Blanc) being planted in 1987.

In 1995, following the initial success of the winery, the hill above the property was planted to classic European Vinifera varieties, including Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Riesling. To this day, Unionville Home produces some of our most coveted wines. Fertile, channery silt-loam soils packed with decomposing red shale, combined with a southwestern slope, lends each variety site-specific characteristics such as limey-minerality in Chardonnay, fruity acidity in Riesling, and dark, brooding, berry flavors in Cabernet Sauvignon.

My friends and I went to Unionville Nov. 10 for their Fall Artisan Market event. We had a very enjoyable time, especially with the tastings! Our wine Taster, a Lovely Lady whom I did not ask her name was gracious, friendly, knowledgeable! Very nice atmosphere in the downstairs tasting room!!! 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷

A few of us went to Unionville for a tasting this past weekend and had a lovey time :-) first of all the setting inside and out is beautiful! I am definitely not a wine connoisseur but the staff is so kind and very knowledgeable. I ended up learning a lot about the wines from our host, Larry. It was a very enriching and informative experience. Definitely will come back!

Attended for a wedding and wow, what a gorgeous venue. Staff was lovely and the space was truly transformative. Honestly, one of the most thoughtfully done weddings I’ve been to. Outdoor space for games and activities, a covered area that we used as a dance floor, and and tasting room for cocktails. Oh, and the wine itself was quite good (definitely on the sweeter side, as to be expected with Jersey wines). Really lovely spot; will be going back to see what’s it’s like during normal tasting hours.

For my cousin’s birthday we decided to visit Unionville. Carlton was our host, he was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and explained the wine making process. He talked about the variety of grapes use for each wine and answered all of our questions. We had a great time! Great customer service and helpful staff. We will definitely stop by again. Cheers!
