The idea was to provide a unique Irish experience incorporating the warmth of an Irish pub with New American cuisine and all the while creating a sense of charm and hospitality. The idea became a reality 16 ago when the trio opened Tír na nÓg Irish Bar and Grill in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Then 12 years ago came the sibling bar, Tír na nÓg in Philly, centered around much of the same characteristics as New York, but here in center city Philadelphia. Packages available for a minimum of 20 guests. Various private areas to accommodate groups of any size: The Cocktail Party Room accommodates 15-30 People and is great for a get together after work with friends or a holiday cocktail party. The private room in Atrium of the Phoenix building accommodates 50-150 People and features beautiful high ceiling decorated with pastel colors. Can accommodate all needs.The Happy Hour Room accommodates 20-40 People and is great for a sit down dinner with an uplifting atmosphere from the bar scene below.The Private Cocktail Bar accommodates 40-75 People and is your own private bar for all cocktail events with a fun atmosphere. The Intimate Dinner Room accommodates 6-14 People and is ideal for a private dinner, Birthday or Bridal Shower. Groups of less than 20 are welcome to order from the regular menu. Does not charge a room fee for any spaces and has no minimum requirements.

Good food, quiet area (main lobby of the historical building) and charming, smiling staff. A very pleasant dinner with friends.

The people at Tir Na Nog were amazing at helping us host a large party of about 130 people. We used their large event space. We had some issues with the heat and they were quick to fix what they could. The food we had for the party was excellent! I highly recommend the shrimp!! We did a cash bar and they had plenty of servers to get everyone the drinks they needed. If you are looking to host an event this is the place! The manager on staff that night was top notch!

Quite busy even during weekdays especially because the place is huge. Very good menu of beers and wines. Very good customer service :) and even the appetizers were fresh. Loved the vibe of the place. Will visit more to chill and hang out definitely!

Cute little Irish pub with a great selection of brews on tap and in the bottle. Expansive menu but does have a few true traditional Irish items. I got the shepherds pie and my companion got the fish and chips. The fish portion was HUGE and the batter was flavorful and not to thick/heavy. Fresh cut fries were great too. My shepherds pie was delicious! Lots of meat (lamb) hearty sauce/gravy and fresh peas and carrots. The veggies weren't overcooked and still had some bite to them, which I prefer. The potatoes were smooth, tasty, and crisped just right on top. I highly recommend this bar for a group drink out or a place to grab some grub.
