I expected to be "wowed" by this hotel- we'd seen the cool lobby pics and some good reviews. The lobby was nice (albeit about half the size it looks in promo photos). The room itself was sort of old and bore no resemblance to the vibe or decor of the lobby. The views from the room were appalling (see pics). We opened a window for a few minutes and were inundated by a strong smell (?onion rings?) that made me wonder if we were near the kitchen exhaust system outlet. We asked for more toiletries (one tiny shampoo for 2 people) but didn't receive any. Bottom Line: Great location, not crazy expensive (though valet parking is about $60/night). However, I will not return to this hotel in the future.

They would have gotten 5 but getting my car was an experience. The front desk said go to the garage by the elevators and give them your ticket. Well what he didn't say was you needed to keep walking into garage and find the window and give your ticket. We weren't the only ones who were confused. Yet the attendants that get the car saw us standing there and did come and see if the could help. And couldn't get back into hotel for help as door locked and you needed to have your room key.

Very good hotel, good location, huge rooms, big comfy bed & bath. Very clean and tidy with all the essentials you need Also, you get a guest tray and a fridge which is a BIG plus and very helpful! Staff are polite and nice. Highly recommended :)

Hotel was nicely renovated and in a great location. Staff was friendly and room service was absolutely phenomenal! Rooms are smaller as this is a historic building. We stayed during a heat wave and the air conditioning was struggling, but pretty sure that was the case at most city establishments.

Top notch boutique hotel. Stumbled upon this wonderful gem after having my flight cancelled and decided to enjoy a little bit of Philadelphia. Wonderful location. The room was spacious and comfortable with full amenities. Every staff member was excellent and accommodating from the moment I arrived. The concierge for the residence side took her time to help us find the best dining spot for our needs.
