About

dedicated to promoting social wellness through community green space. Greensgrow reconnects city dwellers with rural food producers and promoting the greening of Philadelphia’s homes and gardens. Together we are building a better, more progressive and sustainable Philadelphia.

We run two garden centers, educational programming, food access programs and other projects resulting in permanent jobs and sustainable income. A small, dedicated staff runs our multi-faceted organization.

Very disappointed with the advice one of the employees gave me in regards to picking out annual flowers. Specifically Asked if she could help me find something that would bloom and do well in full sun. I spent $44.00 on a weed. It ruined my pots this year. I assumed all the employees knew a little about plants and gardens. It would have been helpful if she directed me to someone that was knowledge Instead of making me waste my money. I will be going to Lowe's next summer. $210.00 spent on flowers and every time I'm out in my yard I get annoyed. At least at Lowes, they help you find the right plants that will thrive and look like their supposed to look. Not big weeds!
