One main reason for the 5 stars is the owner, John. He's so friendly and entertaining. I first came across him offering tastings of his spirits at the KoP farmers market. I then knew I had to check out his distillery in Norristown. The place itself is awesome, a renovated firehouse. My group sat by the open bay door on a perfect cool autumn evening. John came by and chatted for a bit. The bartenders are very nice and know their craft. And so finally, the drinks! I'm usually just a "glass of whiskey, neat" type of guy. But their crafted drinks are great! They have a large drink menu but the bartenders can customize for you. And we brought our own food, but they are planning a kitchen, so stay tuned! And go!

I was looking for a place to drink near the Courthouse with a Juror after a long and difficult case and stumbled to Five Saints Distilling. There wasn't any customers at the time and we thought it was closed. We did meet the owner John and he gave us a run down on the spirits that they made and we bought a flight. The spirits that they made was very unique and delicious in their way. We had their Mule with the Maple Rum and it was very tasty. We also tried their Old Fashion and I have to say it was the best one that I have had. I decided to buy a bottle of their Rum as it was that good. Thanks John for those great drinks that was needed after the past few emotionally draining days at the Courthouse. Ti

This is a converted Firehouse that serves as distillery and bar. The owner, John greeted us and told us the story of the name... The five saints are the people who raised him after his father passed away. They are uncles and friends and his father (and his wife who is the sixth.) There's live music and awesome drinks. You cannot miss this place! There's Tuscan gin with Italian aromatics. There's white whiskey. There's absinth. There's rum. It's all good
