About

Artesano Gallery began as a historic space located underneath the bridge in Manayunk (right outside of Philadelphia). Many years ago, it was a vacant warehouse and completely untouched. One day, the founders of Artesano Gallery came across the location and immediately saw the experiences that could be created here. They wanted others to see the unique beauty in the location so they decided to renovate and restore it. After many months of planning and building, the historic property was turned into an eclectic Art Gallery – Artesano Gallery was born.

Over the next few years, many of the people who visited the gallery kept saying that they would love to rent the space out for their wedding. One day, the owners finally gave in and decided to take a leap of faith. They turned the art gallery into a wedding venue and the rest is history.

Since the historic space was originally turned into an art gallery, this is where the name of Artesano Gallery comes from. Even if we are no longer a formal gallery, you will still see many pieces of art hanging on the walls and you will even see sculptures outside when you come visit.

change it a wedding at this vineyard it was very beautiful the atmosphere was wonderful for the people that servers were very great with rent this vineyard again

I have passed this venue multiple times while working in Manayunk and I was super excited about an upcoming wedding I had there. It absolutely did not disappoint and exceeded my expectations. The venue has a wonderful layout with separate cocktail, reception and ceremony areas. The staff was amazingly accommodating to the guests, couple, and vendors. The food was excellent as well. I highly recommend checking out this venue for your wedding or event!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here in February of 2019. It is an amazing place to get married. The food is the best of any wedding I have ever attended. Moreover, the menu options are unique and delicious. It is hard to choose because they all sound so good. The staff goes above and beyond. We were so well taken care of on our wedding day and throughout the whole process. Talia and Ivan were always on the ball with the details and planning. Weddings have gotten so expensive these days, but for what you get and for the amazing quality, Artesano is worth every penny! The inside is so unique and funky. Interesting plants and art cover the walls. It is unlike any wedding venue I saw in Philadelphia - and we looked at a bunch. We highly recommend this venue and all of our guests echoed that sentiment as well. So happy that we will get to go back as guests for an upcoming wedding.

Went to a wedding it was elegant the venue was perfect very clean the staff servers bartenders waiters waitresses Etc were a tremendous help, nothing was too much trouble. the valets for the parking were very kind and efficient

When we began our process of looking for a venue in and near Philly, we found that most places were similar in a lot of ways. Artesano Gallery does not fit that mold at all. From the moment we walked in, we knew that Artesano was the place we were getting married. We even cancelled another venue visit while we were still there! Ivan is not your typical wedding vendor; he will not say yes to all of your requests and he has strong opinions on the space and how the event should flow. However, we LOVED working with him and really appreciated the wedding wisdom he brought to our planning process (he was right about everything). We did mostly work with Talia and she answered all of our long lists of questions from day one, and kept us on track until the day of. She was really amazing to work with and coordinated everything in a way that kept me relatively stress-free. Our favorite part of the whole night was the FOOD. The food was above and beyond any wedding I have ever been to and we have not stopped receiving compliments, especially for the cocktail hour. It's really not fair to other wedding venues how good this food is. We were initially worried about them only having one bar in each room, but between passed wine and signature cocktails there was never a long wait for our 145+ guests. The staff were all attentive and made the whole night seem effortless and classy. Overall, the whole process was wonderful. My only slight complaint that is not even worth taking off a star is that they don't open the venue more than 15 minutes early for guests without charging an extra fee. That said, we found everything else to be priced reasonably in comparison to other venues, especially considering all the extras that the venue comes with (centerpieces, hundreds of candles, Ivan's orchids, the living wall, THE ARTWORK EVERYWHERE). Our wedding was absolutely perfect and we can't recommend Artesano highly enough.
