About

To make great wines you need a few key ingredients. Naturally, things like good soil, healthy vines, sunlight, plentiful grapes and good barrels are all necessary. However, truly great wines require something more, something our family has cultivated alongside our 70 acres of premium varietals since 1933, hard work and passion.

Founded over 80 years ago by our grandfather, we are the third generation of Tomasellos to build upon his great vision. Not only through dedicating our lives to growing and producing excellent wines that are a true expression of the Outer Coastal Plain, a historically celebrated American wine growing region, but by bringing our wines closer to your families with elegant tasting rooms and gift shops throughout the great Garden State.

Came here with my daughter, cousin & girlfriend and had a WONDERFUL time our wine tasting...among ourself we bought a total of 10 bottles..the woman that served was was very nice and helpful. YOU get to choose from a long list of wines,for your 5 wine tasting, which is nicer.Thank you!

Tomasello's winery is hands down the best venue to have a wedding. From the moment we arrived on Sunday for our wedding the staff was amazing. Dana and Lisa were wonderful to work with from the beginning to the end, and Dana was with us from start the finish. Everything was beautiful the outside pergola, the cocktail hour and the reception. My guest are still calling me to let me know how amazing the food was and the courteous and fun staff. They made my wedding day perfect I cant thank them enough!!

I have been to Tomasello's twice now and both times I have not enjoyed myself. The winery is a good beginner winery for those just starting into wines. Unfortunately the wines are mediocre and not complex. The ice wine is more of a sweet white and not a true ice wine. The experience would have been more pleasurable if the server was more polite and talkative. Their was an older couple served in front of us and she was pleasant with them, but as soon as we went to be served her attitude changed. I will not be going back and I do not reccomend going to this winery for a tasting if you're looking for a full bodied wine and a relaxing atmosphere do not go here.

Went to abma’s farm today with family and friends so we go to the tasting room so we can make our friends from Texas try the wine , there was was a line so we waited we where told that we needed reservation to taste wine, unhappy by the way we where treated not how it was in the past was ready to renew my membership plus purchase my favorite wines we left, so I will not be renewing my membership or buying the wine anymore sorry to say you lost a good customer, there’s other winery’s in New Jersey.

One of my favorite wines. I love the stores in Smithville. The main Winery is nice on the inside but not so much on the outside they should upgrade outside.
