Talen Energy Stadium, a state-of-the-art 18,500-seat Major League Soccer stadium, serves as home to Philadelphia Union. Public support from the State of Pennsylvania, Delaware County and the City of Chester reinforced private support for the mixed-use development, which is helping to drive a "renaissance on the river" in Chester. The stadium is located just five miles south of the Philadelphia International Airport at the southwest corner of the base of the Commodore Barry Bridge, with easy access to major roadways such as I-95, I-476, US-322 and PA-291. Additionally, the Northeast Corridor Amtrak, Conrail and SEPTA rail lines run two train platforms within a short distance from the site.

I am a Union season ticket member so I can definitely tell you. Talen energy stadium is a great experience for the family. They have the best pizza cones and the food I s very cheap. It is a great view from all around the stadium and the announcer is very loud and cool. I hope you enjoy the Philadelphia Union and have a good time. GO UNION!
Huge stadium in the waterfront of Chester. Bus lines also run to the stadium, which is nice. Great place to go with kids or family to watch a soccer game. They actually open up their parking lot near the wharf on non game days, which is also nice. Great place to just go and chill out on occassion. Even to go fishing in the Delaware River.
Very nice venue for soccer matches or other events. Stadiums seats are not overly crowded and for the most part offer good views. A good mix of vendors for snacks and souvenirs, some are better than others, but still a worthwhile selection.
It is worth noting that for a venue billed as a Philadelphia sport team stadium, it is not located in the city, but rather in Chester. While it is also accessible by highway and public transit, it is a little out of the way.
Home of the Philadelphia Union (MLS)
A fantastic American Soccer stadium.
Has the look and feel of the best international facilities, but on a smaller scale.
Excellent trendy food and a large beer selection.
Large clean restrooms.
Parking isn't free (usually $20) but it's close to the stadium and secure.
Provides an excellent introduction to pro soccer for children and fan-friendly family atmosphere.
I think that this stadium is very nice but not comparable to many other stadiums in the league in terms of scale. The concessions stands also did not smell appetizing whatsoever and decided to steer clear. However, the best thing about this gameday experience are the fans. The chants and supporters groups were all very loud and passionate especially when the Union scored. A great family atmosphere and for this looking to see a great quality match of football.
