I had dinner here on 11/2/19. The restaurant is nicely decorated but very loud. We had the Heirloom Salad. It was good with some small grape tomatoes but would be far better with some lush juicy larger Heirloom tomotoes. Honeynut Squash was fair. Nothing special. Little flavor. The Doppio Ravioli was terrible. It contains a mystery meat which supposedly is lamb with zero flavor. The ravioli had no taste, no flavor, no sauce and very dry. The side dish of Butterball Potatoes get 5 stars. Perfectly done home fries. We should have ordered them with two eggs over easy and we would have had a perfect meal.
What a great dining experience! The staff were professional, warm, and welcoming and the service was excellent. Everything we got - from the homemade pasta and tomato appetizer to the beef short ribs, seared tuna, and yummy gelato - out of this world. Highly recommend!!!! Looking forward to coming back - can’t wait to try brunch. Came all the way from Baltimore - well worth the trip.
Stopped by for early evening cocktail and a couple of small bites. Enjoyed it so much we decided to stay for dinner. I have to say that at every level, the service was exceptional. The food was fantastic. Surprising even. Seemingly simple dishes had a depth of flavor I wasn't expecting. Lovely space. Full but you could actually hear and have a conversation. I look forward to going back and I'm surprised more people haven't commented. A real hidden gem in one of my favorite neighborhoods!
